“NO KINGS” PROTEST RALLY – NEW LONDON, NH, TOWN GREEN
Date: October 18 | Time: 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Kearsarge – Sunapee area residents to host NO KINGS rally in New London Oct. 18

A peaceful pro-democracy rally, organized by citizens of the Kearsarge-Sunapee area, will take place on the Town Green in New London, NH, on Saturday, October 18, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

This demonstration is part of the “No Kings” nationwide day of peaceful action, promoting a commitment to the principles of American democracy and opposition to authoritarianism and the absolute power of one leader.

The event will feature speakers, music, and chants.  

” ‘NO KINGS’ is not just a slogan. It represents the foundation upon which those before us sacrificed for our freedom and built this nation,” says Allan MacDonald, a member of the local organizing team. “Bring a sign and your enthusiasm and join us in sending a joyful and powerful message: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. Power belongs to the people.”
